I've tried to install the glove on my Acer laptop, but the glove box software 1.0.7 always tells me I require to have .NET Framework 1.1.4.3.2.2 installed. It then says it would obtain the software from the web, but when I click on "yes" nothing happens. Isn't that an old version of .NET Framework? I've installed version 4 on this laptop.
I run Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit with all updates installed. The newest glove box software I just downloaded from your website. What shall I do?
thanks.

It took me a bit of playing around to figure out how .NET 1.1 and other packs worked (or did not work) together. This is what I found out.

Unfortunately, .Net 4 is not backwards compatible all the way to 1.1. Therefore, you will need to install 1.1 separately. This is the same issue if you install 3.5 SP1 (goes from 2.0-3.5 SP1, but not 1.1). You can have both installed on your computer at the same time (for your other .NET needs), and does not interfere with GloveBox operations whatsoever.

You can download the Microsoft .NET Framework version 1.1 Redistributable Package right from Microsoft.
Here is a link to install .Net 1.1: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=262d25e3-f...
