What is the Progress on fixing the thumb Hole issue

I loved my Peregrine game glove but when it developed the classic tear in the thumb seem instead of sending it for replacement I opted for a refund and am waiting for the issue to be resolved before I buy my next one because I don't want to run through the 1 yr warranty and then just be out of luck for such an expensive peripheral. It's worth every sent if I can get 5 years out of it, but not for 1 yr. Can I get a progress report on the thumb Hole issue.
